About us

There have been hotel operations in Hordatun since the 1920s. It all started as Hordatun Hospits in 1926 with two accommodation rooms and a shop in the basement. The place saw a gradual expansion; gas station, souvenir and grocery store, cafe and more accommodation facilities were added. After many years of operation and wear and tear, the hotel was demolished in 2006 to make room for two large projects: Hordatun Panorama and Hordatun Gård (today’s hotel building).

We also offer a bar (après-ski bar with live music in the winter season, lobby bar the rest of the year) and a restaurant.

At Bakkely across the road, we offer a historical venue for courses, meetings, concerts, dinners and other events.

Indoor parking is required at one of Norway’s most snowy destinations; all our rooms and apartments have an indoor parking spot reserved.
